About the Park
The McIntosh Reserve Park is 956 acres packed with history, trails, pavilions, and sweeping frontage on the Chattahoochee River. The park is a favorite of hikers and equestrian riders.

Reservations
Reservations may be made by phone or in person daily from 9 am to 5 pm at 770-830-5879.
Camping
We currently have 50(+) *primitive campsites available throughout the park. Though we are primitive, we do allow self contained RV's/campers/pull behinds; there is no dump station. Camping is limited to a maximum of 5 nights. All campers are required to register with a valid ID and tag numbers for all vehicles and no person may camp without a vehicle on site.

Cancellation Policy:
Pavilions and Campsites
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the date of arrival in order to receive a refund minus a $10 cancellation fee. Reservations made within 14 days are non-refundable. No refunds for early departure. No refunds due to inclement weather. Reservations can be changed one time for no charge. Deposit will then be forfeited.
Location
McIntosh Reserve Park is located 35 miles southwest of Atlanta along the Chattahoochee River and can be reached by U.S. Alternative 27 from Carrollton or Newnan and Georgia Highway 5 from Douglasville. Direct access to the park is provided by a county-maintained road that connects with Georgia Highway 5 at 2 miles west of Whitesburg.
